Your data stays in your iCloud.

The focus model runs entirely on your device. Sessions sync only through your own private iCloud (CloudKit) — we can't see them. There's no Meowve server and no ads, ever. The only thing that leaves your device is anonymous usage data about the subscription screen; your sessions, breaks, streaks and steps are never part of it.

Do I need both the iPhone and Mac app?

No — each works on its own. Meowve is one purchase that covers both, so if you work at a Mac and carry an iPhone, Miso follows you between them and your session state stays in sync.

How does Meowve know I actually took a walk?

It reads your step count on-device to confirm you moved. That step data is used only to verify the break and is never uploaded to us or anyone else.

Where does Miso live?

In the Dynamic Island on iPhone and in the notch area on Mac — he stays visible while you work, and gets more insistent the longer you sit.

Do I need an account?

No. Meowve has no server and no account. Your sessions, breaks and streaks live on your device and sync only through your own private iCloud, which we cannot read.

What's free and what's Pro?

The core break timer and Miso are free. Pro unlocks the full streak history, custom break schedules and every mascot outfit.

Does it collect any analytics?

Only about the subscription screen. Meowve sends anonymous usage events to Google Analytics for Firebase so we can see how that screen performs, and Adapty observes your subscription status. Neither receives your sessions, breaks, streaks or step data. There are no ads, no third-party trackers and no ad identifiers.
