Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the Meowve apps for iOS, iPadOS, macOS and watchOS. By downloading or using Meowve you agree to them — and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies to all App Store apps. Where these Terms are silent, the Apple EULA controls.

1. The app

Meowve is a wellness companion whose mascot, Miso the cat, reminds you to take regular movement breaks and can verify them using your Apple Watch steps. The app is provided by webkoding ("we", "us"). Contact: arif.ozelci@webkoding.com.

2. Wellness aid — not medical advice

Meowve is a general wellness and productivity tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Step counts and break reminders are for general guidance only and may be inaccurate. Always use your own judgment, and consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing any activity routine, especially if you have a health condition.

3. Free tier and subscriptions

The free tier includes a basic focus timer, break notifications and the Dynamic Island cat on a single device.
Meowve Pro is an auto-renewing subscription: $19.99/year or $3.99/month (prices may vary by region; the App Store shows the exact price before purchase). New subscribers get a 7-day free trial.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel anytime in App Store → your name → Subscriptions.
Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store rules.

4. Pro features

Meowve Pro unlocks Apple Watch walk verification, strict mode on macOS, the cross-device cat, cat skins and sounds, and detailed reports. Subscription status is read directly from Apple's StoreKit.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer the app except as permitted by law, attempt to circumvent subscription controls, or use automated means to abuse the app. Strict mode on macOS pauses your screen with an overlay; you remain responsible for your own work and any unsaved data.

6. Health & safety data

Where you grant access, Meowve reads motion and step data locally to verify breaks, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can revoke these permissions anytime in your device Settings.

7. Disclaimer & liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for personal injury caused by our negligence.

8. Termination

You can stop using Meowve anytime by deleting it. We may suspend access for breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (disclaimers, liability limits) will survive.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; the current version always lives at this URL with the date above. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.

11. Apple's standard EULA

Your license to use Meowve is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available here: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. In the event of a conflict, the terms more protective of you as a consumer apply.
